There’s something so tender and mild about this winter engagement shoot by Shea Brianne Photography. It will make you want to snuggle up in your warmest blanket and daydream about rolling fields of winter wheat at sunset. So put on your instrumental Christmas music and get ready to enjoy! Everything about this holiday engagement shoot is romantic and soft. The bride’s long skirt, the pink and red wrapped gifts, and the scarf covered in calligraphy are quietly cheerful and wildly beautiful. This is the epitome of winter romance.

Captured in the gorgeous rolling wheat fields in the Ozark Mountains this Christmas inspired engagement session by SHEA BRIANNE PHOTOGRAPHY is the perfect heart-warmer for this season. Styled by Megan Ellis OF READY SET SWOON this couple – McKensie & Brandon -are getting married this coming Northern summer. Inspired in part by Dean Martin’s “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” this Yuletide shoot embodies a timeless romance blossoming at the most sentimental time of year – Christmas time. As the air crisps, the couple wanders through an overgrown field, silk-wrapped presents in tow. For a brief moment, they stop to enjoy the sunset, wrapped in a hand-painted silk blanket, but warmed by their boundless devotion.
Shea tells us, “If you’re looking to incorporate festive touches into your winter wedding without it feeling too overly ‘Christmassy’ this is the perfect way to do so. With touches of delicate femininity: tones of muted blush in the tulle skirt, pink silk-wrapped presents (that Megan hand-dyed!), glittering gold fields, and deep green magnolia leaves in the holiday wreath. We hope this shoot warms your heart like it does ours!”
